General Description

YBX3 series high efficiency flameproof of three-phase asynchronous motoris our upgraded explosion-proof motor basic series from YB2 series, theseries motor has the advantages of small volume, light weight, beautifulappearance, reliable operation, long service life, excellent performanceas well as convenient installation, operation and maintenance.

The series motor's power level, installation dimensions comply withEC standare, with coincident corresponding relation ship with Germanstandard DIN42673. lt is conducive for the export equipment matching and introduction of spare parts for equipments.

The series motor's flameproof performance is in accordance withGB3836.1-2010 Explosive atmospheres-part 1: Equipment. Generarequirements & GB3836.2-2010 Explosive atmosphere-Part 2: equipment withflameproof enclosure "d "protection, it was also made into flameprooftype in accordance with 60079-1,BS4683 & EN50018 provision.Theflameproof mark is Ex d IMd, Ex d IIA T4 Gb, Ex d IIB T4 Gb which isapplicable for explosive atmosphere.

For Ex d I Md, equipment installed at coal mine methane explosiveenvironment, has " high " protection level. This level has sufficient safeperformance, it cause impossibility to be the ignition source duringequipment normal running, or under expected failure conditions for theperiod between gas suddenly appeared and equipment power off, itis applicable for electrical equipment for non excavation working face.

Ex d IIA T4 Gb, Ex d IIB T4 Gb are applicable for equipments withexplosive gas environment except coal mine, with " high " protectionevel, it is not a source of ignition during normal running or underexpected fault conditions.

Based on YBX3 basic series motor, it can also be made into YBX3-Woutdoor type, YBX3-TH indoor humid tropics type, YBX3-WTH outdoor humidtropics type，YBX3-TA indoor dry tropics type,YBX3-WTA outdoor drytropics type, YBX3-T indoor tropics type, YBX3-WT outdoor tropics type 8YBX3-WF1 outdoor medium corrosion type etc. climate conditions.

The series motor efficiency index reaches grade 3 efficiency ratinospecified in The minimum allowable values of energy efficiency and theenergy efficiency grades for small and medium three-phaseasynchronous motors, GB 19613-2012 standard, which is equivalent tothe IE2 ofIEC60034-30.

Construction features

1. The flameproof construction for Ex d IMd, Ex d IIA T4 Gb, Ex dII B T4 Gb are available.1)Ex d I Md is applicable for non-excavationarea environment under coal mine well with methane or coal dustexplosive mixture.2)Ex d I A T4 G,Ex d IIB T4 Gb is suitable forcategory Il, Class A & Category Il, Class B temperature category T1,T2.T3，T4 AT environment with explosive mixture existence.

2. The degree of protection is IP55,IP56,IP66 for motor mainenclosures.

3. The cooling form is IC411.4. The stator widings are of Class F insulation and ensiures a largemargin of safety in temperature rise and long service life.5. A cylindrical shaft extension is equipped on motors, which is

driven by coupling spur gearing.6. The stator windings are wound with pilyester enamel round wire ofhigh strength and then treated with the progerss of vacuum-pressureimpregnation (VPI), o make them become a solid integral. Thereforethe winding insulation is excellent in electrical and mechanical properties.moisture resistance and thermal stability.

7. The rotors are of cast-aluminum, and dynamically balanced t makethe motor operate smoothly with small vibration and low noise.

8. The stator and rotor cores are laminated with high-class electricalsteel sheet with high permeability and low loss thus makes the motorspossess low toss and high efficiency.

9. The motors are fitted with low vibration and low noise bearingsspecial for motors. For the motors of frame size 132 and below, bilaterallyshielded ball bearings are used and corrugated spring washers at thedriving ends pressed on bearings with proper pressure to restrain effectivelythe vibration and noise rpoduced during motor's operation. For the motorsof frame size 160 and above, the bearings with inner and outer covers areused and retaining rings at bearing position are equipped on shafts toprevent the rotor efficiently from moving axially. In order to operate safelyand reliably, the bearings of the motors frame size 160 and above areorovided with greasing attachments, which are of the use to drain orreplenish the lubricating grease without stopping the motors. For the framesize 250 and above, the positions for mounting bearing temperaturemonitoring censers are preliminary left.

10.Motor fan, air hood: the series motor adopts anti static plastic fan.with small rotational inertia and low loss. The series fan is connected withshaft by key with reliable operation. Air hood is of steel plate structure. Itachieves largest ventilation area under the premise of preventing certainsize of foreign matter from invasion, which obtains smooth air path.
